Garden Party Milk Shake
Milk shake glass
Assorted silk flowers (colors and styles of your choice)
Paper striped straws
Plastic shopping bag
Hot glue, glue gun
We found the milk shake glass found here at our local Walmart for just $1. You can find everything else you need for this project at your local Walmart or craft supply store.
1. Begin by balling up the plastic bag and pressing it into the glass. This will act as filler.
2. Remove your blooms from their stems. You will only be needing the heads of them.
3. Apply glue to the bottoms of the blooms and press them into the milk shake glass. You want them to be nice and full. For ours, we used a huge faux peony and hydrangea. They worked perfectly since they are full flowers.
4. Once the flowers are arranged in the glass, you can add your straws. This will really get the arrangement looking like a sweet treat. Add a dab of glue to the end of the straws and press them into the glass until they touch the bottom.
Your garden party milk shake is now ready to be used as a centerpiece or given as a gift. They are such a fun and frugal way to decorate, so give them a try!
